The function of the ecological consultancy service is to provide scientifically sound assessments of
vegetation including descriptions of plant
communities, assessment of the significance and conservation status of communities and their individual component species, and relevant mapping. It also offers advice on
the likely environmental impacts of various land-use activities, and management guidelines for maintaining or restoring habitats.
Experience
Over the past 25 years Pathways has conducted ecological surveys and
botanical assessments in virtually all major Victorian ecosystems and is
a leader in wetland ecosystems studies. The assessments have ranged in
size from large state-wide and regional assessments to local examination
of small vegetated plots.

government agencies to local government, from large and small business
groups to local conservation groups and individuals. Pathways has
